Abstract
:
Quality requirements are critical to the success of any application. It is generally accepted that many systems fail because they don’t satisfy the requirements of the users. Since project failure leads in tremendous loss of cost, time and effort, there is a crucial need for the establishment of a requirement analysis infrastructure that promotes user involvement and ensures requirement authenticity at low expenditure. In this paper, Scenarios are used to analyze the requirements which help in deciding what exactly is important. Scenario, a requirement eliciting method, is the description of requirements as a sequence of interactions and is a key concept of writing and analyzing requirement specification. A Scenario Functionality Model is designed to model the structures of all scenarios describing the interaction between the users and the system. With an example, the impact of functionality model on the quality of requirements is defined which gives a description of behavior of various quality parameters of requirements.
